5/19/11 - The Coordination Team posted the HHCAHPS mail questionnaire and accompanying survey materials in Traditional Chinese on May 9, 2011. The Traditional Chinese language version of the HHCAHPS Survey Questionnaire and related survey materials do not replace the Simplified Chinese language version of the instrument and survey materials. The Traditional Chinese language versions of these documents are provided for use with patients who read Traditional Chinese rather than Simplified Chinese. Vendors should work with their client HHAs to determine whether their patients who need a Chinese language version of the instrument need the questionnaire in Simplified or Traditional Chinese, and use the applicable version.

12/31/10 - The online HHCAHPS Vendor Participation Form has been temporarily removed. New online applications will be accepted from organizations interested in applying to become an HHCAHPS-approved survey vendor beginning approximately one month before the next scheduled Introduction to HHCAHPS Survey Webinar training session. At this time, the next training session has not yet been scheduled. Please monitor the HHCAHPS Web site announcements page for information on when the next Introduction to HHCAHPS Survey Webinar training session will be held.

6/02/10 - The XML Schema Validation Tool is now available, which allows survey vendors to "pretest" their XML files to determine if they will pass many of the validation steps, before actually uploading the file to the Data Coordination Center. This is available under the Data Submission tab once survey vendors have logged into the private side of the portal.
2/25/10 - Spanish questionnaire and telephone scripts have been updated to ensure consistency of language between the two documents. Survey vendors currently fielding the Spanish instrument should wait until the beginning of a new sample month before making any updates to the materials.
2/15/10 - The Data Submission Tool is now available to approved Survey Vendors under the Data Submission tab after user has logged in.
