HHCAHPS website Data Submission Pages and Schema Validation Tool Updates

The HHCAHPS Coordination Team is announcing two sets of changes to the Data Submission tab on the HHCAHPS website. First, we have consolidated the public links under the Data Submission tab to a new link called Data Submission Resources. The Data Submissions Resources page now houses the User Manual, XML File Layouts, XML Sample File, Schemas, and submission tips, which were previously individual pages. We hope this will make it easier to identify and access all the resources available for data submission.

Second, the XML Schema Validation Tool has been migrated online to the HHCAHPS website. The new tool performs the same functions as the old downloadable tool but is now located on the project website in the same place you go to submit data. This means the tool no longer has to be downloaded and installed separately on your computer. Just like the old downloadable tool, the new online tool only validates XML files against the XML schema file and reports on those errors. Data submitted for schema validation online are NOT saved on our servers.
