HHCAHPS 2016 Training Materials Have Been Posted

The agendas and presentation slides that will be used in the Introduction to the Home Health Care CAHPS (HHCAHPS) Survey Webinar training sessions and the HHCAHPS Survey Vendor Update Webinar training session are now available on the HHCAHPS Website, under the "Training" tab on the HHCAHPS Website.

The Introduction to the HHCAHPS Survey Training Session

  • The Introduction to the HHCAHPS Survey training session is a two-part session. Session 1 will take place on Monday, January 25, 2016 from 1:00-5:00 PM ET. Session II will take place on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 from 1:00-5:00 PM ET.
  • Power point slides and an agenda for each of these training sessions have been posted.

The HHCAHPS Survey Vendor Update Webinar Training Session

  • The HHCAHPS Survey Vendor Update Training Session will take place on Thursday, January 28, 2016 from 11:30AM to 1:30PM ET.
  • Power point slides and an agenda for this training session have been posted.

In addition to the power point slides and agendas, we have posted an updated version of the HHCAHPS Protocols and Guidelines Manual, Version 8.0, which can be accessed via the Protocols and Guidelines link under the "Survey Materials" tab. An updated version of the HHCAHPS Data Submission Manual, Version 4.0, has also been posted on the HHCAHPS Website and can be accessed via the Data Submission link under the "User Manual" tab. Please note that these new manuals reflect the most updated HHCAHPS protocols; vendors should replace earlier versions with these current manuals. 

Finally, an updated version of Q35: Consent to Share Responses, for the Spanish Mail Survey only, has been posted on the HHCAHPS website. A change was made to the response options to make them align better with the telephone version of that question. The updated version of this question can be found under the "Survey Materials" tab on the website.
