The HHCAHPS Survey Update Training Session For Approved Survey Vendors has been Scheduled

The first Home Health Care CAHPS Survey vendor Update training session will take place via Webinar on Monday, September 13 and Tuesday, September 14, 2010. The training will consist of one 4-hour session, which will be offered from 1:00 to 5:00 Eastern Time on each of those 2 days.

Survey vendors who are currently approved to administer the Home Health Care CAHPS Survey must attend this Update training session. The staff member designated as the survey vendor’s Project Manager for the Home Health Care CAHPS Survey must attend the Update training session and must also complete a training certification after the training session ends.

Multiple people within an organization may attend the Home Health Care CAHPS Survey Update training session. However, only one Webinar access code will be assigned to each organization; therefore, all individuals within the organization attending the training must meet in the same room for the update training session.

We strongly encourage other key survey vendor staff and subcontractor staff working with approved survey vendors to attend the Update training session. Home health agency staff and others may attend the Home Health Care CAHPS Survey Update training session as well, although they do not have to complete the online training certification.

Registration for attending the Home Health Care CAHPS Survey Update Training Session will open on Monday, August 2, 2010, and will close at 9:00 P.M. Eastern Time on Thursday, September 2, 2010.

The online registration form will be available at 8:00 AM Eastern Time on August 2, 2010.
