HHCAHPS Training Materials Have Been Posted

The agendas and presentation slides that will be used in the Introduction to the Home Health Care CAHPS (HHCAHPS) Survey Webinar training sessions and the HHCAHPS Survey Vendor Update Webinar training session are now available on the HHCAHPS Website.

The Introduction and Update training materials can be accessed by selecting the appropriate link under the "Training" tab on the HHCAHPS Website.

The Introduction to the HHCAHPS Survey Training Session

• The Introduction to the HHCAHPS Survey training session is a two-part session. Session 1 will take place on Monday, January 26, 2015 from 1:00-5:00 PM ET. Session II will take place on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 from 1:00-5:00 PM ET.
• Participation in both sessions of the Introduction to the HHCAHPS Survey Webinar training is required for survey vendors seeking to become approved HHCAHPS Survey vendors. Home health agencies (HHAs) and other interested organizations are welcome to attend the Introduction to HHCAHPS Survey training session, but participation is not required.
• Survey vendors who are already approved HHCAHPS Survey vendors are also welcome to attend, but their attendance is not required.

The HHCAHPS Survey Vendor Update Webinar Training Session

• The HHCAHPS Survey Vendor Update Training Session will take place on Thursday, January 29, 2015 from 11:00AM to 2:00PM ET.
• Participation in the Vendor Update Training Session is required for approved HHCAHPS Survey vendors to retain their HHCAHPS Survey vendor approval status.

An updated version of the HHCAHPS Protocols and Guidelines Manual, Version 7.0, has also been posted on the HHCAHPS Website and can be accessed via the Protocols and Guidelines link under the "Survey Materials" tab. All approved HHCAHPS Survey vendors and Medicare-certified HHAs should replace all previous versions of the Protocols and Guidelines Manual with Version 7.0. An updated version of the HHCAHPS Data Submission Manual, Version 3.0, has also been posted on the HHCAHPS Website and can be accessed via the Data Submission link under the "User Manual" tab. All approved HHCAHPS Survey vendors and Medicare-certified HHAs should replace all previous versions of the Data Submission Manual with Version 3.0.
