Error on Webinar Session I Slides on Small Agency Waiver Reporting Period

There was an error on Slide 33 in the presentation slides that were used in Session I of the Introduction to Home Health Care CAHPS Survey Webinar training held on January 25, 2010.

The second bullet on Slide 33 used in the training session incorrectly indicated that:

• Agencies with fewer than 60 eligible HHCAHPS patients between March 1, 2009, and April 30, 2010, will be exempt from the CY 2012 HHCAHPS requirements.

The dates in Slide 33 should have been same as those in the Home Health Prospective Payment System Rate Update for Calendar Year 2012 Final Rule that was published in the Federal Register on November 10, 2009. The text in the second bullet on Slide 33 should have read as follows:

• Agencies with fewer than 60 eligible HHCAHPS patients between April 1, 2009, and March 31, 2010, will be exempt from the CY 2012 HHCAHPS requirements.

The Session I slides posted on this Web site have been updated with this change.
