Home Health Prospective Payment System Update Final Rule for calendar year 2012

The 2012 Final Rule describes Home Health Care CAHPS (HHCAHPS) participation requirements for the 2013 annual payment update. All Medicare-certified home health agencies (HHA) that serve 60 or more patients between April 1, 2011 and March 31, 2012 who meet HHCAHPS Survey eligibility criteria must contract with an approved HHCAHPS Survey vendor and administer the HHCAHPS Survey on a continuous (monthly) basis each month from April 2012 through March 2013 to receive the annual payment update for calendar year 2014.
